B2B Deliveries

When creating an Outbound Order, you can choose from the following shipping method:

• Delivery arranged by Spaceship
• Self Pickup

B2B deliveries (not applicable to Self Pickup) are shipments that are larger than B2C last-mile deliveries and are typically used for delivering products to commercial locations or oversized orders that exceed the weight or size of last-mile deliveries:

• Total shipment weight is over 60kg
• The summed dimension (L+W+H) of the package is larger than 400cm
• Any single dimension is larger than 150cm
• The shipment requires a delivery of >1 package quantity
• The order has >25 SKU line items

Similar to last-mile deliveries, B2B deliveries are not dedicated deliveries (single vehicle trip to deliver 1 order). B2B deliveries that are Less Than Truckload (LTL) will be combined with other B2B deliveries.

Standard B2B Delivery Service

Includes:

• Loading items on their transit bins from Spaceship’s FC onto the delivery vehicle
• Driver and vehicle to transport and unload shipment at the destination and deliver to the doorstep
• Delivery of items on trolleys or pallets. Floor loaded is only available for bulky items that have wheels
• Recipient sign-off acknowledgment (digital)
• Standard B2B delivery timeline of 2-5 business days
• Delivery during standard delivery hours

Does not include:

• Any disassembly or assembly work including uncrating of items in crates or pallets, unboxing items
• Delivery into offices or residential units (inside premise)
• Non-standard Packing including packing for international export
• Providing item or shipment measurements or weight
• Physically handling any item or parcel over 20kg
• Stair Carrying of items or parcels
• Any additional manpower required to transport your order
• Delivery within a specific time window or at a specific time

Standard Delivery Hours

• Mon-Fri: 9:30am to 5:30pm
• Sat: 9:30am to 1:30pm
• Not operational on Sundays & public holidays

B2B Delivery Base Fee

The base fee of B2B deliveries is based on the size of the order, in terms of lots. Each lot is approximately the size of a pallet.

When B2B delivery is selected as the delivery method, you will not receive a quote for the base fee, or any delivery surcharges. Spaceship will proceed with completing the delivery and the final base fee and surcharges will be added to your order after the completion of the delivery.

Delivery Options

You may choose from 3 delivery options, depending on how you want your delivery to be scheduled. The fees for the delivery options are in addition to the base B2B delivery fee.

Unless indicated, the default Delivery Option is Standard: >2-5 business days, cutoff 10 am, during standard operating hours.

Standard delivery is between 2-5 business days. If you need express delivery for your order, subject to the availability of resources, here are the options:

Loading & Transporting Method

Spaceship’s FC will pack the order and load the order onto the transport vehicle using:

• Pallets 
• Trolleys

To ensure the products are safely delivered, and for safe handling, items will be stacked no more than 1.5m high.

Extra Fees

Surcharges will be applied to your delivery in the following scenarios:

Extra Manpower	Required when there is poor access at the destination, or involves handling oversized (>1.8m) or overweight (>30kg) items	+$40 onwards / man
Stair Carrying	When items have to be carried up/down stairs	+$50 onwards
Inside Premise	When items are to be delivered beyond the doorstep and into the premises, or to locations in commercial buildings beyond the unit number	+$25 onwards
Waiting delays	When our drivers have to wait >20 mins at the destination to unload or deliver to the final destination	+$25 / half hour/man

 

Custom Service Requests

If you want us to provide certain services that do not fall under the standard B2B order fulfillment and/or B2B delivery service, you will have to submit a request for a Custom Service while creating your B2B order.

Not all custom service requests are supported. Here’s what we can do, subject to availability of resources, at an additional fee:

• Packing for Export (Separate Work Order is required)
• Printing of Invoices / Shipping Documents
• Pasting or attaching labels to packed orders
• Taking dimension and weight measurements

For custom services that fall into the above categories, we will proceed with processing and completing your order upon Spaceship confirming your custom request. There will not be a quote or fee estimate provided, and you’ll see the final bill in your invoice.
