What are the new prices of the Door-to-door Storage Plans?

When will the new prices for the storage plans take effect?

For new users, the new prices will be effective from 01 Jul 2023. 

For existing users, the new prices will be staggered over time depending on when the user's subscription was started.:

• For users who have existing Door-to-Door storage subscriptions that were started prior to 01 Apr 2023, the new prices will take effect from the billing cycles starting from 15 August 2023 onwards.
• For users who have existing Door-to-Door storage subscriptions that were started between 01 Apr 2023 to 30 Jun 2023, the new prices will take effect 6 billing cycles from 01 Apr 2023. E.g. for a User whose subscription started on 12 Jun 2023, the new prices will take effect from the 13 Dec 2023 billing cycle onwards.
• For users who have yet to start their storage subscriptions, but have already signed up for a Door to Door storage, the new prices will take effect 6 billing cycles from the 1st billing cycle.

Why are you increasing storage prices?

The cost structure of our storage services consists mainly of the rent we pay to the property owner(s) of our storage facilities. There are also operating costs to run our storage facilities including labour fees and utilities. Additionally, we continuously invest in upgrading our equipment for better handling of storage items, and also in software development to ensure better item tracking and management.

Like you, Spaceship as a business is also susceptible to price increments. In order to continue operating as a business, price increments are a necessity.

I would like to cancel my storage plan. How can I go about doing this?

We hope that we are still able to provide our service to you. However, if you would like to cancel your storage plan, you may do so by sending us an email to [e-mail].

Do take note that an advance notice period of 14 days is required prior to the termination of your storage plan. To avoid being billed for another billing cycle, you can submit your termination request 14 days before your next renewal date.

I've prepaid for multiple periods, will this price increase affect me?

There are two types of prepayments: (1) Payment in advance for multiple periods but under a monthly subscription plan with a minimum commitment period of 1 month, and (2) Payment for annual subscription plans.

Under (1), the new prices will take effect according to the details described under "When will the new prices take effect"

Under (2) you will continue on the old prices until the last day of your minimum commitment period. Thereafter, at the first billing cycle after your minimum commitment period, the new prices will apply. 

What are the price changes to Spaceship's move-in/out service?

The move-in/out service will also see a change in prices. These prices will take effect immediately from 01 July 2023 onwards.

We are also updating our Late Payment Admin Fee Charge

From 01 July 2023, all invoices that are overdue by 3 days will be charged a late payment admin fee of $50.00 (before GST) instead of $30.00 (before GST). 

It is important to ensure that payment is made on time. Resources and time have to be allocated to reach out to Users who are late on their payments. This is something that we want to eliminate.
